The present invention relates to a high-pressure pump for a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine, with a pump housing, with at least one work chamber disposed in the pump housing functionally between an inlet region and a supply region. A working element is movably disposed in the work chamber, and a pump shaft is provided in the pump housing by means of which the working element can be driven. In order to obtain a shortened structural length, and an extended service life of the pump, a provision is made that the pump housing can be fastened to a wall of a motor housing of the internal combustion engine, wherein the pump shaft can be radially supported against a shaft of the internal combustion engine, which shaft is supported in the motor housing.

A high pressure pump for a fuel injection device of an internal combustion engine, having a housing, which has an inflow region and a delivery region, having at least one piston, and having a drive element which act upon the piston. The piston is movably disposed in a piston guide of a pump cylinder element and establishes a work chamber in the piston guide which is operatively provided between the inflow region and the delivery region, which chamber, depending upon the movement direction of the piston, can alternatingly communicate with the inflow region and the delivery region. In order to reduce the assembly and handling expenditure for the assembly and to thus cut corresponding assembly costs, it is provided that the pump cylinder element together with a valve which is provided between the work chamber and the delivery region, is fixed in a retaining element which is fastened to the housing.

The invention relates to an axial piston pump with at least one pump element, which includes a piston disposed in a housing, with a drive shaft upon which a swash plate for driving the piston is disposed. The swash plate is non-rotatably fixed, but can pivot around a swash plate pivot axis which extends perpendicular to the longitudinal drive shaft axis (A), and with a device for adjusting a pivot angle between the drive shaft and the swash plate. In order to be able to adjust the oblique position of the swash plate in a simple manner, even during pump operation, it is provided that the device for adjusting the pivot angle of the swash plate has a displacing device disposed in a stationary manner on the housing. The displacing device acts on the swash plate via an intermediate member, which rotates jointly with it, on one end of the swash plate pivot axis to adjust pivot angle of the swash plate in the axial direction of the drive shaft so that the swash plate is secured in the adjusted pivot position when the drive shaft rotates.

The temperature of a measuring resistor is controlled for measuring the mass flow rate of intake air entering an internal combustion engine. The operating temperature of the measuring resistor is regulated by controlling the level of electric current flowing therethrough. A voltage signal based on the level of electric current flowing through the measuring resistor is generated which is indicative of the mass flow rate of air entering the engine. The operating temperature target value of the measuring resistor is adjusted based on the value of the voltage signal, to optimize the measurement sensitivity thereof based on the level of the intake air mass flow rate.

A housing for an air flow rate meter is embodied by two housing parts joined together by a detent connection, so that the assembly is reduced to a single operation, and screws and nuts are omitted. The air flow rate meter is especially suitable for determining the mass or flow rate of aspirated air in mixture-compressing engines with externally supplied ignition as well as air-compressing, self-igniting engines.

An air flow meter that includes a filter or flow rectifier disposed in a retaining aperture of a collar in a bypass channel such that a second end face of the filter rests against one end of a slide-in member in which a resistance element is held in position without any edges that disturb the air flow in the remainder of the bypass channel. The air metering device is designed to be used to measure the air sucked into an air intake tube of an internal combustion engine.
