A system and method for the driving mode-dependent setting of vehicle properties of a motorized two-wheeled vehicle. The system includes a first detection unit designed to detect a manually selected driving mode, a second detection unit designed to detect an active at least assisted driving operating mode, in particular active automated longitudinal control of the two-wheeled vehicle, and a control unit designed to, based on the selected driving mode, select vehicle property settings that are defined depending on the detected driving operating mode.

An emergency braking system of a single-track vehicle configured to intervene in a braking process of the single-track vehicle includes a plurality of sensors that determine various physical variables. From the physical variables an accident risk actual value is determined, compared with an accident risk target value using an emergency braking system control unit, and if the accident risk actual value exceeds the accident risk target value, the single-track vehicle's brake is actuated by the emergency braking system control unit.

A slip control system is provided for a single-track motor vehicle, including devices for detecting the wheel revolution of the front and rear wheel of the motor vehicle, devices for detecting a tilting position angle of the motor vehicle, as well as devices for influencing the driving and/or braking forces acting upon a wheel of the motor vehicle. In addition, devices are provided for storing type-specific tire data, and the devices for influencing the driving and/or braking forces acting upon a vehicle wheel are constructed such that the influencing of the driving and/or braking forces takes place as a function of the type-specific tire data, in particular the different geometries of the front and rear wheel tires.

Slip control system for a single-track motor vehicle

An integral brake system for motorcycles, in which a hydraulic brake system acts on one wheel is connected by a hydraulic line to a main brake cylinder which is controllable with a first brake lever, a brake system acts on the other wheel, with an actuator controllable by both the first brake lever and a second brake lever, and an electronic control unit that contains a regulating device for controlled distribution of the brake force between the two wheels. The electronic control unit is connected by electric control lines to a sensor that responds to operation of the hydraulic brake system, to the actuator and to the second brake lever. The control unit controls the actuator as a function of the output signal of the sensor or, in the event of operation of the second brake lever, to activate the brake system that acts on the second wheel.

Integral braking system for motorcycles

A linked brake system for motorcycles includes front and rear wheel brakes, an actuating device by which the front and rear wheel brakes can be operated simultaneously, a control system for controlling brake pressures at the front and rear wheel brakes, and wheel rotational speed sensors for measuring the wheel rotational speeds of the front and rear wheels as well as for determining a reference deceleration approaching the actual vehicle deceleration and for detecting running conditions in which a lock-up tendency exists at at least one of the front wheel and the rear wheel. The wheel rotational speed sensors is connected to the control system. Upon an operation of the actuating device, the control system operates the front and rear wheel brakes with a set brake pressure ratio, provided the reference deceleration is less than a set deceleration. The control system controls the brake pressure ratio according to an ideal braking force distribution function between the front wheel and rear wheel whenever the reference deceleration exceeds a set critical deceleration.
