A folded food carton is formed from a matable, lay flat blank for retaining, transporting and serving hot food such as pizza. The blank includes an arrangement of end panels, side panels and cover panels foldable relative to a bottom panel such that, in the erected carton, the cover panels overlap and are interlocked with the side panels by means of offset locking tabs. The end panels slant upwardly and inwardly from the bottom panel to add rigidity and save material for the carton. The side panels flare upwardly and outwardly from the bottom panel and extend above the cover panels to enhance stackability and prevent shifting of stacked cartons one on top of the other. Several methods of packaging pizza in the folded carton are disclosed.

Pizza box

An adjustable shipper display system includes a master shell having side walls with mounting positions. A plurality of tray-like shelves are supported at each end at the mounting positions. Fillers are insertable along the shelves to divide the shelves into compartment spaces and to provide dunnage where required. With minimum modification the shipper can be prepared for displaying articles to the consumer without requiring removal or other adjustment of the articles within the shipper.

Adjustable shipper display system

An assembly for shipping and retail includes a tray supporting products and a removable cover. The tray includes a bottom wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a pair of side walls, and dividers. The cover includes a top panel, a front panel, and a rear panel, and a portion of each of the front and back panels contacts the bottom wall of the tray. The rear panel has rear members separated by a space. The top panel is sized not to exceed the outer dimensions of the tray, and portions thereof may be supported by the side walls. The assemblies are capable of supporting the compression loads due to stacking with the loads being transmitted through the walls and dividers of the cover and tray. The lateral edges of the front and rear panels of the cover are sized to prevent lateral displacement of the cover.
