The invention relates to treatment of a plant with one or more microorganisms for inhibiting a plant pathogen. More particularly, the invention relates to isolatedstrains, and strains having all of the identifying characteristics of these strains, and combinations thereof, for a use comprising the above-mentioned use.

Microorganisms for plant pathogen inhibition

The invention relates to direct-fed microbials for use in improving reproductive performance in animals, decreasing death loss and/or off-feed events in animals, improving milk production and/or milk quality in dairy animals, and inhibiting a disease or disorder in dairy animals selected from the group consisting of milk fever, ketosis, retained placenta, metritis, pneumonia, and displaced abomasum. More particularly, the invention relates to isolatedstrains 86, 300, 101, 235, 177, and 102, and strains having all of the identifying characteristics of these strains, for uses comprising the above-mentioned uses.

A culture including the lactic acid bacteria is grown in a liquid nutrient broth. The lactic acid bacteria are separated from the liquid nutrient broth. The lactic acid bacteria can be freeze dried.
