An image sensor includes a pixel layer in which an active pixel array and an optical black pixel array are formed; a first anti-reflective layer which is formed over the active pixel array, and including a hafnium oxide layer with a high transmittance; and a second anti-reflective layer which is formed over the optical black pixel array, and including a hafnium oxide layer with a low transmittance.

A CMOS image sensor includes an active pixel structure suitable for sensing light incident from outside and converting a sensed light into an electrical signal, and an optical block structure suitable for blocking a visible light and passing a UV light to check and evaluate an electrical characteristic of the active pixel area. The UV pass filter includes first and second insulation layers comprising an insulator, and a metal layer formed between the first and second insulation layers.

A high quality single-crystalline polyalkylthiophene structure can be easily prepared by the inventive method which comprises: (i) dissolving polyalkylthiophene in an organic solvent at a temperature ranging from 50 to 100&#xb0; C., sequentially quenching the polyalkylthiophene solution at a temperature ranging from 25 to 40&#xb0; C. and then at &#x2212;5 to 15&#xb0; C., to obtain a self-seeding polyalkylthiophene solution; and (ii) applying the self-seeding polyalkylthiophene solution obtained in step (i) to one surface of a nano-template having a hydrophobic supramolecule coating layer formed thereon to induce self-assembly and crystallization of polyalkylthiophene on the surface.
