A cooking system includes a placement unit which has a food-holding element and a heating unit for heating the food-holding element. An induction unit provides in at least one operating state an amount of heating energy for inductively heating the food-holding element. The heating unit includes a heating element which is different from an induction heating element and is provided for heating the food-holding element.

Cooking system

A cook top with at least two heating elements includes a power electronics arrangement connected to a domestic single phase AC supply. The power electronics arrangement includes several power supply units, which each supply heating currents to one or more heating elements, and a switch arrangement with several electromechanical relays for connecting/disconnecting the power supply units to/from the heating elements. Output poles of at least two electromechanical relays associated with different power supply units are connected in parallel, wherein the parallel connection is permanently connected to at least one of the heating elements. This arrangement reduces the number of switching processes required for alternating use of a power supply device with several heating elements, and simplifies compliance with electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Cook top comprising at least two heating elements and a power electronics arrangement

A domestic appliance includes a mains connection at which an electrical mains voltage can be applied relative to a reference potential, a main supply unit supplying an electrical operating voltage from the mains voltage at its output, and at least one electrical consumer receiving the operating voltage. An electrical switch electrically isolates at least the output of the main supply unit from the mains connection, when the domestic appliance is in a standby mode. Provided separate from the main supply unit is a voltage supply which is coupled to the mains connection and which taps the mains voltage at the mains connection in the standby mode and supplies a supply voltage from the mains voltage for switching the electrical switch to an electrically conducting switching state to thereby switch the domestic appliance from the standby mode to an operating mode.

A cooking appliance apparatus includes at least one current supply line, and at least one current sensor unit configured to measure a high-frequency current in the at least one current supply line. The at least one current sensor has a first sensor inductance, at least one second sensor inductance, and at least one conduction path, which connects the first sensor inductance to the at least one second sensor inductance in an electrically conducting manner.

A hob apparatus includes a configuration unit having at least two input connections for connection to at least two inverters in one-to-one correspondence, at least two output connections for connection to at least two heating elements in one-to-one correspondence, and at least one switch operably connected to a first one of the at least two input connections and operably connected to at least a first one of the at least two output connections. The configuration unit operates the at least two inverters in at least one operating state in parallel to at least one of the at least two heating elements. The configuration unit includes at least one bridging element to connect the first one of the at least two input connections and a second one of the at least two output connections to one another independently of a switching position of the at least one switch.

Hob apparatus

A cooking appliance apparatus includes an inductor, an inverter to supply a high-frequency heating current for the inductor, and a switch to break and/or establish at least one conduction path between the at least one inverter and the at least one inductor. A control unit is provided to deactivate the inverter during a first time interval and to initiate a switching of the switch, with the switching starting and ending within a second time interval, which in a normal operating state is arranged within the at least one first time interval and which in an incorrect operating state has at least one time point, which lies outside the at least one first time interval. The control unit is configured to match the first time interval and the second time interval dynamically to one another.

A cooktop apparatus, in particular an induction cooktop apparatus, includes a switching unit configured to interrupt and establish current flow from a current supply, a first switching element receiving the current flow during an operating process, a control apparatus, which controls the switching unit during the operating process such that the switching unit interrupts the current supply during a first time interval which has a duration of less than of half a period of the power supply voltage. The control apparatus causes the current supply to be connected during the operating process immediately before and immediately after the first time interval. The first switching element begins switching and ends switching during the first time interval.

Hob device

A cooker hob device, in particular to an induction cooker hob device, includes at least one switching unit and at least one control apparatus. In order to obtain a high degree of efficiency, the control apparatus is constructed to automatically prompt the at least one switching unit in at least one operating cycle to switch in at least one entire first time interval using at least one switching parameter having a value which changes at least substantially continuously.

Cooker hob device

A heating apparatus, in particular a hob heating apparatus, with at least one heating connection for at least one heating element and at least one frequency unit. In order to provide a heating apparatus of the generic type with relatively high operational reliability, it is proposed that the heating apparatus comprises a protective unit, which is provided for determining the existence of a conducting path between the frequency unit and the at least one heating connection.
