Disclosed are fusion proteins that include albumin fused to a polypeptide that has insulin activity. The fusion proteins may include albumin fused to insulin or an insulin analog. In particular, the fusions proteins may include albumin fused to a single chain insulin analog. The fusion proteins may exhibit extended insulin activity in vivo or in vitro relative to insulin that is not fused to albumin. The fusion proteins may be formulated as aerosol compositions.

Albumin-insulin fusion proteins

Disclosed are humanized antibodies that bind specifically to TNF superfamily member 15 (TNFSF15), also known as TL1A. Methods of making and using the anti-TL1A antibodies are also described. The humanized antibodies may be antagonists and may used to treat or diagnose conditions associated with TL1A function.

Albumin fusion proteins

The present invention is directed to antigen-binding polypeptides, or variants or derivatives thereof which specifically bind the LIGHT polypeptide. The invention is also directed to methods of making and using such antibodies specifically in the treatment or diagnosis of immune, inflammatory and malignant diseases or conditions (e.g. inflammatory bowel disease; Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and transplantation).

Humanized antibodies against LIGHT and uses thereof

The present invention relates to human secreted polypeptides, and isolated nucleic acid molecules encoding said polypeptides, useful for diagnosing and treating diseases, disorders, and/or conditions (such as immune, cardiovascular, cancer, and other proliferative diseases, disorders, and/or conditions) related to said human secreted proteins. Antibodies that bind these polypeptides are also encompassed by the present invention. Also encompassed by the invention are vectors, host cells, and recombinant and synthetic methods for producing said polynucleotides, polypeptides, and/or antibodies. The invention further encompasses screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of polynucleotides and polypeptides of the invention. The present invention further encompasses methods and compositions for inhibiting or enhancing the production and function of the polypeptides of the present invention. The invention further relates to diagnostic and therapeutic methods useful for diagnosing and treating diseases, disorders, and/or conditions related to these novel human secreted proteins.

The present invention relates to novel Death Domain Containing Receptor-4 (DR4) proteins which are members of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor family. In particular, isolated nucleic acid molecules are provided encoding the human DR4 proteins. DR4 polypeptides are also provided as are vectors, host cells and recombinant methods for producing the same. The invention further relates to screening methods for identifying agonists and antagonists of DR4 activity and methods for using DR4 polynucleotides and polypeptides. The invention also relates to the treatment of diseases associated with reduced or increased levels of apoptosis using antibodies specific for DR4, which may be agonists and/or antagonists of DR4 activity.
