The present invention provides a container for storing, preserving and dispensing flowable comestible products. A floatingly retained, insulation lid tracks the level of the beverage and prevents oxidation, loss of volatiles and contamination of a beverage contained therein. The liquid food product may be disposed by one-handed pouring with the lid retained therein.

Container for collecting, preserving, and serving hot beverages

Brewing problems associated with roasted and ground coffee and wheat compositions are eliminated by employing a roasting time for the wheat component of between 40 and 90 minutes. The roasted wheat is then combined with roasted coffee either before or after grinding.

Method for producing a brewable roasted coffee and wheat product

Wet egg yolk is combined with edible oil by high energy, high shear mixing. During mixing cholesterol is extracted from the yolk by the oil. Simultaneously the ratio of polyunsaturated fat to saturated fat in the yolk is increased. The wet yolk is separated from the oil and can be made a constituent of various egg products.

Coffee-like beverages are prepared by brewing a composition containing on a weight basis from 40 to 60% roasted coffee, 35 to 55% roasted and comminuted wheat and from 3 to 6% hydrolyzed starch material having a D.E. of from 5 to 19.
