Methods of fabricating FinFET devices are provided. The method includes forming a fin over a substrate. The method also includes implanting a first dopant on a top surface of the fin and implanting a second dopant on a sidewall surface of the fin. The first dopant is different from the second dopant. The method further includes forming an oxide layer on the top surface and the sidewall surface of the fin, and forming a gate electrode layer over the oxide layer.

Methods of fabricating Fin Field Effect Transistor (FinFET) devices with uniform tension using implantations on top and sidewall of Fin

A multi-level point-to-point transmission system including at least one terminal resistor, a transmitter circuit, and a receiver circuit is disclosed. The transmitter circuit includes a first external resistor and a transmitter. The transmitter generates a first reference current according to the first external resistor and determines a current flowed through an output terminal thereof according to a transmission data and the first reference current. The receiver circuit includes a second external resistor, a third external resistor, and at least one receiver. The receiver generates a second reference current according to the second external resistor and generates a reference voltage difference according to the second reference current and the third external resistor. The receiver judges a voltage at the receiving terminal thereof according to the reference voltage difference so as to receive the transmission data correctly.

Multi-level point-to-point transmission system and transmitter circuit and receiver circuit thereof

A light source control apparatus and a method for controlling light source are provided. The light source control apparatus is used to controlling N light-emitting devices connected in series. N+1 nodes are sequentially defined at two terminals of each light-emitting device mentioned above, where N is a natural number. The light source control apparatus includes a testing circuit and a compensation circuit. The testing circuit is coupled to the nodes to transmit a testing current to light-emitting devices between Ith node and Jth node, where I and J are natural numbers, and N+1&#x3e;=J&#x3e;I&#x3e;=1. The compensation circuit is coupled to the nodes to measure a brightness of light-emitting devices between Ith node and Jth node, decide a value of a compensation current according to an intensity of the brightness, and provide the compensation current to light-emitting devices between Ith node and Jth node.

Light source control apparatus

A low differential output voltage circuit having a voltage generator and a differential output unit is provided. The voltage generator includes a first PMOS transistor, a first amplifier circuit, a unit gain stage, a first NMOS transistor, a second NMOS transistor. The differential output unit includes a first controlled current source, a second controlled current source, a common voltage circuit, a first switch, a second switch, a third switch, and a fourth switch. Due to the voltage generator directly provides a common mode voltage to the differential output unit, and the first amplifier circuit and the unit gain stage could overcome a channel modulation effect of MOS transistors and enhance the driving ability of the common mode voltage respectively. Thus, a response time of the invention is decreased, and an output current of the differential output unit is in a proportion to the reference current received by the voltage generator.

Low differential output voltage circuit

An impedance match circuit having high precision without being affected by variations in manufacturing processes. The impedance match circuit includes an impedance detect circuit, a current comparator, successive approximation controller, and an impedance combination circuit. The impedance detect circuit detects an external impedance. The impedance combination circuit outputs an output impedance. The current comparator compares currents from the impedance detect circuit and the impedance combination circuit. The successive approximation controller realizes whether the output impedance achieves a corresponding impedance match value of the external impedance by the current comparator. If the output impedance does not achieve the desired impedance value, the successive approximation controller will sequentially control the impedance adjusting mechanism in the impedance combination circuit to change output impedance of combination impedance circuit for achieving the desired impedance value corresponding to the external impedance.

Impedance match circuit

An operational transconductance amplifier (OTA) includes a first, a second and a third differential units, a voltage-to-current converting unit and a current subtraction device. The first and the second differential units receive a differential input voltage and the voltage-to-current converting unit converts it into an output current. The OTA adopts a replica scheme, that is, by copying the first differential unit to generate a third differential unit and then performs a subtraction between the first output current from the first differential unit and the second output current from the third differential unit in order to eliminate the static current component in the output current. In addition, since the first and the third differential units have the same layout, the output current will not vary with the channel length modulation of transistors, and the static current component in the output current can be eliminated completely.
