Provided is a charged particle beam device and a charged particle beam device calibration method capable of correcting an influence of characteristic variation and noise with high accuracy. Control units execute a first calibration of correcting a characteristic variation between a plurality of channels in detectors and signal processing circuits by using a setting value of a control parameter for each of the plurality of channels in a state in which a primary electron beam is not emitted. The control units further execute a second calibration of correcting a characteristic variation between the plurality of channels in scintillators or the like by using the setting value of the control parameter for each of the plurality of channels in a state in which the primary electron beam is emitted.

Charged particle beam device and charged particle beam device calibration method

A measurement device that comprises a photoelectric conversion element and a signal processing part that receives, from the photoelectric conversion element, detected pulses that include dark pulses and signal pulses that are outputted in accordance with inputted photons. The signal processing part performs amplitude discrimination on the detected pulses on the basis of a pre-acquired dark pulse amplitude distribution for the photoelectric conversion element.

Measurement device and signal processing method

A plurality of switching units are provided, and a controller performs control in an antiphase manner to approximately synchronize a rise of a control signal applied to one of the switching units with a fall of a control signal for switching applied to any one of the other switching units and synchronize a fall of the control signal applied to the one of the switching units with a rise of the control signal for switching applied to the any one of the other switching units. When control in an antiphase manner is disabled, control is performed to prevent rises or falls from coinciding with each other between the switching units. Output signals from the switching units are input to rectifiers and are combined by a combiner to become an output signal.

Provided is a charged particle beam control device having improved signal detection accuracy. The charged particle beam control device (detection block) includes: a detector provided in a charged particle beam device, and configured to detect secondary electrons emitted from a sample by irradiating the sample with a charged particle beam and output an electric signal based on the detected secondary electrons; a signal wiring configured to transmit the electric signal; a noise detection wiring configured to detect a noise signal generated in the charged particle beam device; and an arithmetic circuit configured to generate a signal obtained by subtracting the noise signal from the electric signal.

Charged particle beam control device

A charged-particle beam system comprises: a charged-particle beam device containing a detection unit for detecting electrons generated by irradiating a sample with a charged-particle beam released from a charged particle source; and a signal detection unit in which a detection signal from the detection unit is input through a wiring. The signal detection unit comprises: a separation unit for separating into a rising signal and a falling signal the detection signal from the detection unit; a falling signal processing unit for at least eliminating ringing in the falling signal; and a combination unit generating and delivering a combined signal produced by combining the rising signal, which has been separated by the separation unit, with the falling signal wherefrom the ringing has been eliminated by the falling signal processing unit.

Mass spectrometric device and mass spectrometric device control method

When the frequency bandwidth of a high frequency signal to be amplified is changed, the linearity of a high frequency module deteriorates. A high frequency module has an amplifier circuit including an amplification transistor and a variable impedance circuit, and an output matching network. Based on an amplifying operation, the amplified high frequency signal will contain unwanted signals of secondary distortion components. In a frequency band that generates such unwanted signals of secondary distortion components, the output impedance of the amplifier circuit is changed so that the impedance will not match between the amplifier circuit and the output matching network. The output impedance of the amplifier circuit is changed by controlling the variable impedance circuit.

High frequency module and portable terminal using same

A high frequency circuit and a high frequency module are provided, in which the accuracy of compensation operation is improved in compensating by digital control. The amplification gain of an amplification element of an amplifier unit is controlled by a bias current of a bias control unit. A process monitoring circuit of a calibration circuit includes a first and a second element characteristic detector and a voltage comparator. The detectors convert the current of replica elements into a first and a second detection voltage. The voltage comparator compares a first and a second detection voltage and supplies a comparison output signal to a search control unit. Responding to the comparison output signal of the comparator and a clock signal of a clock generating unit, the controller generates a multi-bit digital compensation value according to a predetermined search algorithm, and the bias control unit of the second detector is feedback-controlled.

High frequency circuit and high frequency module

The present invention is directed to accurately set a frequency characteristic of a filter integrated in a semiconductor integrated circuit. A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a filter circuit, a cutoff frequency calibration circuit, and a Q-factor calibration circuit. The cutoff frequency calibration circuit adjusts cutoff frequency of the filter circuit to a desired value by adjusting capacitance components of the filter circuit. After adjustment of the cutoff frequency of the filter circuit by the cutoff frequency calibration circuit, the Q-factor calibration circuit adjusts the Q factor of the filter circuit to a desired value by adjusting a resistance component of the filter circuit.

Semiconductor integrated circuit and operation method of the same

The disclosed invention enables the cutoff frequency of a filter to be automatically adjusted to an arbitrary setting value within the adjustment range. An automatic cutoff frequency adjusting circuit includes a voltage/current converter circuit, a charge circuit, a discharge circuit, a digital capacitance having a plurality of electrostatic capacitances, a comparator for comparing a voltage inputted to the digital capacitance with a reference voltage, and a capacitance control circuit for controlling the digital capacitance. The time until the comparator detects that the voltage inputted to the digital capacitance is higher than the reference voltage after a reset signal has become a predetermined logic level is measured, and the digital capacitance is controlled by repeating, under a predetermined condition, processing for obtaining a next setting value of the digital capacitance, based on a measurement result, a target value of the digital capacitance, and the current value of the digital capacitance.

Automatic cutoff frequency adjusting circuit and portable digital assistant

A receiving circuit is provided for performing reception of a plurality of band signals and suppression of blockers that remain in the plurality of band signals being received and converted in frequency. The receiving circuit includes a first low-pass filter that has a first pole position to suppress blockers remaining in a received signal by the first pole position, and a second low-pass filter that has a second pole position to suppress blockers remaining in a signal that has passed through said first low-pass filter by the second pole position. A switch that switches on/off an input-output path including the filters so that the received signal passes through said first filter without passing through the second filter when receiving a first band signal, while the received signal passes through both filters when receiving a second band signal different from the first band signal.

Receiving circuit

In a direct conversion receiver, to cancel a DC offset generated in the baseband processing block, negative feedback arrangements comprising a gain control amplifier and a low-pass filter are respectively attached to the I and Q signal branches of the baseband block following mixer outputs. The gain control amplifier in each negative feedback circuit is gain adjusted so that the product G&#xb7;B of the gain G of a primary gain control amplifier and its own gain B will be constant and thereby the DC offset is cancelled. This DC offset cancellation can be applied in a continuous receiving system with no intermittent time during a receiving operation. Capacitance elements located off-chip can be reduced to those to be used only in the low-pass filters in the negative feedback circuits, whereas many off-chip capacitance elements have been required to be inserted between each stage of gain control amplifiers in conventional baseband chains.

Direct conversion receiver

The present invention is a receiving circuit used for a cellular phone that is reduced in size and can realize low power consumption. In a signal reception circuit that is used in a cellular phone that perform transmission and reception of a plurality of band wireless signals and includes a low-pass filter for removing blockers unnecessary for signal reception, the low-pass filteris composed of a plurality of filters composed of a plurality of different circuit configurations and having a plurality of different pole positions, switching between a filter for blocker removal and a filter configuration with reduced sensitivity degradation is performed by combining a plurality of filters for each signal reception band, and by performing power-off of an unnecessary filter portion in the filter configuration, power consumption is reduced. By constituting a plurality of different filters using filters mutually complementing their characteristics, a redundant filter configuration can be avoided, so that the area thereof can be suppressed to necessity minimum, and cost can be reduced.
