Jerome Henry is a Principal Engineer in the Office of the Wireless CTO at Cisco Systems. His main field of research is around the optimization of clients’ performances in unlicensed wireless networks, which includes IoT, indoor location, QoS and privacy.
Focusing on his wireless and networking experience, Jerome joined Cisco in 2012. Before that time, he was consulting and teaching heterogeneous networks and wireless integration with the European Airespace team, which was later acquired by Cisco to become their main wireless solution.

Mr. Harada received B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Yokohama National University in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively.
He was a research fellow at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science at Yokohama National University from 2005 to 2008.
He joined NTT DOCOMO, Inc. in 2008, and has been engaged in 3GPP LTE standardization, including small cell enhancements and LAA.
He received the IEEE VTS Japan VTC2006-Fall Student Paper Award in 2006, and the IEICE Young Researcher’s Award in 2011
