This encoder utilizes memory and circuitry to perform the following tasks: (i) encoding an image block, (ii) binarizing coefficient information and deciding whether to apply arithmetic encoding and (iii) employing different syntax structures based on the application of arithmetic encoding and a predetermined condition. Moreover, when arithmetic encoding is not used, the encoder subtracts 1 from the initial non-zero coefficient value during the image block encoding.

Patent №: 11700407 (July 11, 2023) – Personal media content insertion.

This technology enables the insertion of personalized or user-related supplementary media content into primary media content being presented to the user. The inserted content is based on the context of the primary media, such as the location or theme of a movie scene. Supplementary media content can be determined for specific groups of frames in the primary media and combined at a presentation position to create modified media content.
