Punit P Seth

Dr. Punit P. Seth heads medicinal chemistry and targeted delivery at Ionis Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Seth is co-inventor of Ionis’ Gen 2.5 platform which employs high affinity nucleoside modifications to enhance the affinity, stability and potency of ASOs in the liver and in extra-hepatic tissues. He is also the co-inventor of Ionis’ LICA (ligand conjugated antisense oligonucleotides) platform which enhances ASO potency by targeted delivery to cells and tissues of interest.

He has extensive experience using medicinal chemistry strategies to modulate the activity, pharmacokinetic and toxicological properties of oligonucleotide drugs. Dr. Seth is listed as a co-author/co-inventor on nearly 200 peer-reviewed publications, issued patents and patent applications. He has a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from The Ohio State University.

Patent №: 11725208 (August 15, 2023) -Conjugated antisense compounds and their use. This disclosure introduces half-duplex compounds with two oligomeric parts. The first part is complementary to a target nucleic acid, and the second, shorter part – to the first. These compounds can help regulate the expression of certain target nucleic acids beyond the liver.

Christian Aabye

Mr. Aabye is a member of the EMVCo Board of Managers, representing Visa. He is also an active participant in EMVCo’s 3-D Secure Working Group.

Christian currently serves as Vice President, Global Interoperability and Specifications. Within this role, Christian oversees the management of Visa’s specifications for payment instruments, including contact and contactless card and terminal products, mobile payment solutions on both the consumer and seller side, L3 testing and CA services, and much of Visa’s participation within EMVCo.

Christian has worked in the payments industry for 29 years, the last 21 years with Visa.

Patent №:11727397(August 15, 2023) – Systems and methods for domain restriction with remote authentication.
This process combines domain restriction and remote authentication. It involves receiving a token from a plug-in app for a user transaction, sending an authentication request to a remote server, and receiving an authentication tracking value. Using this value, a domain restriction cryptogram is generated to restrict the token’s domain. The resulting cryptogram is then sent back to the plug-in app.

Patent №: 11726317 (August 15, 2023) – Waveguides having integral spacers and related systems and methods. A head-mounted display has stacked waveguides with built-in spacers. These spacers separate the waveguides and are made with diffractive optical elements using imprinting or casting. They’re on the waveguide surfaces, keeping adjacent waveguides at a set distance. Adhesives bond the waveguides together. Vent holes let gas flow, and debris traps prevent debris from entering.

Martin John Richards

Mr. Richards is the chief architect, Cinema at Dolby Laboratories, where he works on imaging products for the Cinema Business Group.

Since joining Dolby in 1986, he has been involved in the design of a number of products, including Dolby Digital Sound on film, Dolby Digital Cinema, Dolby 3D, and high dynamic range Dolby Cinema Projection.

Prior to Dolby, he worked at Ampex Corporation in the optical signal processing section of the Research and Development Department, and in the Data Systems Group working on high-density optical and magnetic recorders.

In 2007, he received an Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Sci-Tech Award of Commendation for converting film from silver-based to cyan-dye tracks.

In 2010, he received the Lumière Award for the Dolby 3D system. In 2015, the Dolby Vision Projector received an HPA Engineering Excellence Award.

Martin holds a BS degree in electrical engineering and computer sciences from Oregon State University and is a member of SMPTE.

Patent №: 11726394 (August 15, 2023) – Spatial light modulator for reduction of certain order light. A new spatial light modulator (SLM) with a cover glass, modulation layer, and pixel mirrors separates reflected light. The cover glass and pixel mirrors have a geometry that separates light reflecting from them. This helps transmit desired modulated light while reducing unwanted reflections. Different methods, like angled surfaces, thickness adjustments, and antireflective coatings, achieve this separation. An optical filter can also be used to remove unwanted light from the SLM.
