This week, we aim to celebrate the centurion patentors who have reached noteworthy milestones in their fields.

Since 2013, he has been with WCS Lab., Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) as an adjunct research fellow and also with WILUS Institute of Standards and Technology, where he is currently CEO and co-founder.

Patent №: 12207132 – Multi-user wireless communication method and wireless communication terminal using same. A wireless communication terminal includes a transceiver and processor. The processor receives a trigger frame for UL MU transmission to establish a link with an AP and sends the link setup frame based on the trigger frame.

Patent №:  12207129 – Wireless communication method and wireless communication terminal for transmitting information on buffer status. A wireless communication terminal communicates with a base terminal using a transceiver and processor. It receives a trigger frame, sends buffer status information, and includes QoS control data in the MAC header.

Methods and systems for multi-tenant edge computing manage resources, security, and services across edge nodes, enabling workload execution for multiple tenants in shared environments.

Patent №:  12204471 – Shared memory for intelligent network interface cards. An HFI enables interconnect-network communication, offloads network functions via a coprocessor, and manages shared memory with a caching agent.

Patent №:  12204400 – Dynamic tracing control. The system includes an intermediary generator to create intermediaries for monitoring services, an intermediary controller to collect data and manage monitoring, and a remediator to address errors during service execution.

Patent №:  12204396 – Adaptive power management for edge device. A method identifies a long-term SLA for an edge device component, determines related resources, and schedules tasks considering the SLA, battery level, energy harvest rate, or task power needs. Resources are then used to initiate tasks.
