Patent №: 12109100 (October 8, 2024) – Three-dimensional resorbable implants for tissue reinforcement and hernia repair. Resorbable three-dimensional implants have been developed for minimally invasive procedures, designed to temporarily deform for easy implantation and resume their original shape in the body. Made from poly-4-hydroxybutyrate mesh with reinforced borders, these implants are ideal for tissue reinforcement and hernia repair, particularly in areas like the inguinofemoral region. Once in place, they conform smoothly to the host’s tissue without wrinkling or folding.
