A mouse detects button press inputs using a switch on a first support. When the button is pressed, the first support rotates toward a second support, and a pressure sensor measures the applied pressure.

Patent №: 11983336 (May 14, 2024) – Magnetic toggle ejector. A mouse accepts a USB Type-C cable connector in its port. The connector, with a wireless dongle, fits flush to prevent torsional damage. A magnetic toggle ejector uses poles to push the magnet against the connector, creating a grasp point for easy removal.

Patent №: 11983332 (May 14, 2024) – Low acoustic keyboard key. An information handling system keyboard features key caps with extensions that engage frame stops to define their raised positions. A fluid reservoir, such as acoustic grease in a membrane, is coupled to the key cap extensions to dampen contact with the stops, reducing noise when keys are released.
