Since 2009, Osterhout has been highly focused on developing products and technologies in the head-worn computing field. Ralph has over three decades of developing head-worn technology (starting with the PVS-7 Night Vision Goggles in 1984) and has created nine different generations of smartglasses.

Osterhout has been referred to as the “real-life Q”, in reference to the fictional character Q that equips James Bond with secret spy gadgets, after Osterhout designed and developed several gadgets for James Bond films.

John Patrick Keady
Dr. Keady has focused the last 20 years with hands-on experience in technology development, prototyping, patent protection and licensing. Uniquely educated with several Ph.Ds (a Ph.D in Physics (Experimental and Theoretical Plasma Physics), a Ph.D in Computational Sciences (Acoustics)) a JD, MBA, and a BS degree in Aersopace and Ocean Engineering.
He is a member of both the Virginia Bar and is a registered Patent Attorney. Dr. Keady left a Visting Physics Professorship to take control of and add to Staton Techiya’s LLC legacy technology.

Scott Huffer, Principle Engineer with Sonoco Flexible Packaging, is a 35-year veteran of the flexible packaging industry with extensive knowledge in advanced printing technologies and innovative solutions Scott is a Chemical Engineer by training from Purdue University.
Prior to his 21 years at Sonoco, Scott held various roles at other packaging companies including Avery Dennison and Rexam.

A described structure for forming a wrapper, such as for print media, includes lines of weakness to facilitate tearing and accessing the contents. These include a first line along a fold line, a second line perpendicular to the fold lines, and a third line between them at a non-zero angle. A tear initiated at the first line can propagate along the others to create an opening.
