Abstract

A turbocharger () with variable turbine geometry (VTG) having a guide grate () which surrounds a turbine wheel () radially at the outside, which has an adjusting ring () operatively connected to the guide blades () via associated blade levers () which are fastened to blade shafts () at one of the ends thereof. Each blade lever () has a lever head () which can be placed in engagement with an associated engagement recess (), which has a base wall (), of the adjusting ring (), and which has a stop () at least for setting the minimum throughflow through the nozzle cross sections formed by the guide blades (). The stop is a first support point () on the base wall (), wherein, in the minimum throughflow position, the lever head () makes contact, via a wall surface () facing toward the base wall (), with said first support point.
