Abstract
A fuel supplying apparatus comprising a fuel pumpdisposed within a fuel tankfor pumping fuel to an injector, a pressure regulatorfor discharging an excess amount of fuel out of the fuel from the fuel pumpinto the fuel tankas an excess fuel, a fuel filterdisposed within a flow path connected between the fuel pumpand the pressure regulatorupstream of the pressure regulatorand having a filter elementaccommodated within an electrically insulating housingfor filtering the fuel discharged from said fuel pump, characterized by a grounding device comprising an electrically conductive protectoror an electrically conductive memberfor providing an earth to the filter element, whereby an electrostatic electricity generated while the fuel is passing through the filter element can be ensured to be dissipated, allowing a stable fuel supply.
