Abstract
The system comprises, for example, an electric shaver ( ) and a cartridge ( ) mounted in a chamber ( ) of the shaver ( ). The shaver ( ) comprises a shaving head ( ) having drivable cutters ( ) and an electric motor ( ) for driving the cutters ( ) via a coupling pin ( ). The cartridge ( ) comprises a reservoir ( ) for holding an auxiliary fluid. This auxiliary fluid may, for example, serve to reduce the friction between the shaving head ( ) and the skin of a user. The cartridge ( ) has an outlet channel ( ) and a diaphragm pump ( ) for feeding the auxiliary fluid from the reservoir ( ) to the outlet channel ( ). For the actuation of the diaphragm pump ( ) the shaver ( ) comprises a button ( ) and a lever ( ) which is pivotable about a pivot ( ). When the button ( ) is pressed the diaphragm pump ( ) is actuated and a small amount of the auxiliary fluid is applied to the skin of a user via an outlet opening ( ). The cartridge ( ) has a key ( ) which cooperates with a blocking device ( ), which is adapted to block the lever ( ) by means of pins. The key ( ) has projections for positioning the pins of the blocking device ( ). In the absence of the correct key the lever ( ) is blocked and thus prevents the auxiliary fluid in the cartridge from being pumped to the outlet opening ( ).
