Abstract
A new and distinct cultivar ofplant named 'SMNBDFRI' is disclosed, characterized by large, conical inflorescences of bright, magenta-colored petals with a floral fragrance. Plants are dwarf and compact with large, dark green leathery foliage. The new cultivar is atypically produced as an outdoor ornamental plant.
