Abstract
A new and unique Old-fashioned Bleeding Heart,plant named 'Hearts on Fire' characterized by large habit and deeply-lobed triternate foliage. The leaves emerge bright gold with reddish blush. The plant has large flowers that are heart-shaped deep reddish surrounding white center petals, on outwardly arching racemes, and stays in bloom 4 to 5 weeks beginning late spring. The new plant has an excellent growth rate.
