A new and distinctcultivar named 'Midnight' distinguished by its glossy black and purple leaf color, medium-large leaves held on short petioles, red purple flowers on upright flowering stems, excellent performance in sun or shade, medium mounding habit with an excellent crown count, and excellent vigor from spring to fall.
