A new and distinct cultivar ofplant named 'Improved Mandarin Wind', characterized by its upright, somewhat outwardly spreading, uniformly mounded and dense plant habit appropriate for container production; glossy green-colored leaves; uniform, freely and early flowering habit; large ruffled orange-colored flowers with red purple-colored centers; and good postproduction and garden performance.
