Abstract

The new variety 'Twister' is part of the 'compactgroup'. It can reach 45 cm in length, with an average of approximately seven leaves per plant. The plant shows an inverted pyramid shape and swirl, the arrangement of the leaves is in the form of a rosette. Shows very similar colors to the comparison variety 'Laurentii', with irregular margins showing variegated coloration, with alternating brilliant yellowish green (RHS 154B) and light yellowish green (154D RHS) horizontal bands. 'Twister' presents more leaves per rosette than the parent variety ‘Black Gold Superba’ and is more similar to the commercial variety ‘Laurentii’.
