A new and distinct cultivar ofplant named 'Red Dragon,' characterized by its outwardly spreading plant habit, twisting stems, rich dark burgundy-colored leaves, burgundy color of the catkins and leaf buds, and resistance to eastern filbert blight caused by the fungus(Peck) E. Muller.
