The present invention relates to a new and improved variety of apricot tr The fruit of the new variety is characterized by an attractive deep orange color with a red blush, very large size, and firm flesh with sweet flavor. The tree is characterized by moderately vigorous healthy growth and spreading tree habit. The new variety has been named `Gabriel`.
