Abstract
A new and distinct variety of Azalea found as a seedling in a planned cross between the female Azalea `Carror` and the male Rhododendron oldhamii `Fourth of July`. The new variety possesses a unique blooming time and is superior in development of a dense, globose shaped plant with atttractive single to semi-double pink/reddish-purple flowers.
