Abstract
A high voltage, rechargeable lithium electrochemical cell is provided that exhibits high cycling efficiency over many cycles. The cell comprises metallic lithium as the anode, poly 3-methylthiophene (PMT) polymer as the cathode, and LiAsF.sub.6 salt dissolved in dimethylcarbonate (DMC) as the electrolyte.
