Abstract

A material for an organic electroluminescent device having high emission efficiency and an organic electroluminescent device utilizing the same. The material is represented by Formula 1. In Formula 1, Xto Xare each independently hydrogen, deuterium, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 15 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group; Arand Arare each independently a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms for forming a ring; L is a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group; n is an integer from 1 to 3; at least one L is a phenylene group represented by Formula 2. In Formula 2, Yto Yare each independently a direct linkage, hydrogen, deuterium, halogen, an alkyl group having 1 to 15 carbon atoms, an alkenyl group having 2 to 15 carbon atoms, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group.
