Abstract

The present invention simplifies the system of power lines from the power source of a balloon-type illumination device to the inside of the balloon. The balloon-type illumination device () is provided with: a balloon (); a discharge lamp () provided within the balloon (); a blower () that is provided within the balloon () and inflates the balloon (); a ballast () that performs stabilized power supply to the discharge lamp () and is provided outside the balloon (); and a power source circuit () that is provided within the balloon () and is for sending, to the blower (), a portion of the power to be supplied to the discharge lamp ().
