Abstract

An improved coulter assembly () includes a rotatable coulter blade () and a supporting assembly () having a parallel linkage arm assembly () and an active piston and cylinder assembly (). The assembly () serves to maintain the blade () at a depth of at least about four inches, in order to prevent clogging of the assembly () during use. Another coulter assembly () includes a knife adjustment assembly () allowing selective vertical and angular adjustment of the knife () relative to the coulter blade ().
