Abstract
A rimless toilet pan () including a forward end (F), a rearward end (R), a pan bowl (), a flushing outlet (), a flushing water inlet (), an inwardly facing first sidewall (), an inwardly facing second sidewall () and a flushing water flow splitter (). The flushing outlet () is in fluid communication with the pan bowl (). The flushing water inlet () is in fluid communication with the pan bowl (). The inwardly facing first sidewall () extends substantially around the top of the pan bowl (). The substantially horizontal ledge () extends substantially around the bottom of the first sidewall (). The inwardly facing second sidewall () extends substantially around the pan bowl () under the horizontal ledge (). The flushing water flow splitter () is substantially adjacent a rearward end of the first sidewall (), is in fluid communication with the flushing water inlet () and has a leftwards outlet () and a rightwards outlet (). The flushing water flow balancer () is on a frontwards part of the first sidewall (), includes an inwardly facing projection () extending vertically through at least part of the height of the first sidewall () and is positioned substantially symmetrically in relation to a forward to rearward centerline () of the toilet pan ().
