Abstract
A locking device provided with: a striker-contact member () which is positioned on a hook () and is abutted against a striker being entered the groove () of the hook () so as to sandwich the striker in cooperation with the groove () of the hook (); and a spring (hook-biasing member) () that urges the hook () in the unlocked position direction via the striker-contact member () and that urges the striker-contact member () in a direction a direction to be abutted against the striker.
