Abstract
An automatic allocation system for a network, the automatic allocation system comprising a controller, the controller defining a control plane that provides a common language to communicate with each OSI layer within the network, the controller further is in communication with at least one data source, the at least one data source including real time performance data for the network, wherein the controller monitors the real time performance data to identify an allocation need, wherein the controller adds or removes at least one of a physical resource, a network device, a virtual instance and a virtual network function based on the allocation need.
