Abstract
A claw rotor () provided with an insulator () for a field coil () and a rotary electric machine equipped with such a rotor, the insulator comprising a plurality of projecting petals () intended to engage with the inner inclined periphery of a claw (). Each of the petals () includes: a base () solidly connected to an associated cheek (), side edges (), and an end ().
