Abstract
Embodiments of the inventive concept include a boot loader update firmware (), a system and method for producing the boot loader update firmware (), and a method for using the boot loader update firmware () to update a boot loader module () in a device (). The boot loader update firmware () can include logic () to install firmware () in non-volatile memory (). The firmware () can include a binary image () of the updated boot loader module (). When the device () is rebooted, the firmware () is activated, which can then copy the binary image) into non-volatile memory (). When the device () is rebooted again, the updated boot loader module () is activated.
