Abstract
A heat exchanger () for a motor vehicle includes a plurality of tubes () arranged in a first and a second row (A,B); a first and a second header tank () inside which tanks () the tubes () of each of the rows (A,B) emerge; and a longitudinal dividing partition () arranged in the first header tank () to divide the first header tank () longitudinally into refrigerant inlet and outlet compartments () into which the tubes () of the first row (A) and of the second row (B) emerge. The longitudinal dividing partition () includes a plurality of transverse dividing partitions () arranged in the second header tank () to divide the second header tank () transversely into a plurality of return compartments () into which at least one tube () of each of the rows (A,B) emerges.
