Abstract
An electric connector includes a first connectorand a second connector. The first connector includes a first contact, a second contact, a plate like ground platearranged between the first and second contacts, and a first housing that holds the first contact, the second contact, and the ground plate. The second connector includes a third contactconnected to the first contact, a fourth contactconnected to the second contact, and a ground metal part arranged at both ends of the third and fourth contacts in a contact array direction and configured to be in contact with the ground plate, and a second housing that holds the third and fourth contacts and the ground metal part. The ground plate includes a projecting portion formed on both side surfaces in the contact array direction and come in contact with the ground metal part.
