Abstract
A basin molding (), for example a kitchen sink, a washbasin or the like, is made of a composite material having a polymerized cured binder () and fillers (). The basin molding () has a visible side () and a rear side (), which is located opposite the visible side (). Unidirectionally oriented fibers () are polymerized into the composite material on, or in the vicinity of, the surface of the rear side () of the basin molding ().
