Abstract
An oxide ceramic represented by the general formula [SrBaCo(ZnNi)FeAlO]. In the formula, 0.7≤x≤1.3 and 0.8≤z≤1.2. y is 0≤y≤0.8 when 0.5≤u≤1.0 and is 0≤y≤1.6 when 0≤u≤0.5. y is preferably 0.4 or less. Further, a variable inductor as a ceramic electronic component has a component base body formed from the oxide ceramic.
