Abstract

Provided is a technology which is able to detect an object with high accuracy. A signal processing apparatusincludes a generating unitand a detecting unit. The generating unitincludes a function of generating, as a transmitting signal, a modulation wave whose frequency changes non-repetitively. The detecting unitincludes a function of fetching the transmitting signal and a receiving signal which is received by a receiving means that can receive a reflection signal generated when the transmitting signal is reflected by an object. The detecting unitincludes a function of detecting at least one of presence of the object, distance to the object, and moving speed of the object, based on correlation between the receiving signal and the transmitting signal.
