Abstract
The invention relates to a method () for damping and/or amplifying a sound introduced into a passenger compartment () of a motor vehicle, in particular an electrically driven motor vehicle, said sound being generated () by a sound source () arranged outside of the passenger compartment (). A correction signal is generated () by means of correction signal means () which are paired with the sound source () and/or a sound-transmitting structure () of the motor vehicle, and the correction signal is determined () such that the sound is introduced into the passenger compartment () in a damped or amplified state.
