Abstract

The invention relates to a hose () featuring an integrated system for detecting damage and comprising a hose wall () in which at least one transponder () is embedded. The hose () is characterized in that an antenna () is also embedded in the hose wall () so that an electromagnetic coupling () can be established between the antenna () and the transponder (), the magnitude and/or quality of the electromagnetic coupling () being a measure of the degree of damage to the hose wall ().
