Abstract

A luminescent product, a lamp and a light source are provided for converting light of a first color into light of a second color. The luminescent productcomprises a matrix polymerand another material. The matrix polymercomprises a luminescent material which converts light of a first color into light of a second color. The another materialis light transmitting. The luminescent productis at least partially light transmitting and the matrix polymer has a three dimensional structure which has multiple surfaces being an interface between the matrix polymer and the another material to allow, in use, a light beam, which impinges on a sideof the luminescent product, to pass at least four times an interface between the matrix polymerand the another materialbefore at least a part of the light beamleaves the luminescent productat another sideof the luminescent product
