Abstract

A container lid locking mechanism and a container. The container is provided with a base (), side boards (), and a lid (). The locking mechanism comprises buckles (), return members (), recesses (), openings (), and locking holes (). The recesses () and the openings () are located in the edge of the lid (), and the locking holes () are located in the side boards (). Each of the buckles consists of a buckle body and a tongue () extending out from the buckle body. The return members () can enable the buckles () to be kept in a locked position. The recesses () are used for accommodating the buckle bodies. Two pairs of limit structures are disposed on the buckles () and in the edge recesses () of the lid (). When the locking mechanism locks, the pair of limit structures () on the buckles () and the lid () are in a fitted state to limit the buckles (). The tongue () penetrates through the opening () at the edge of the lid () and is fastened into the locking hole () in the side board (). When the locking mechanism is in an unlocked state, the other pair of limit structures () on the buckles () and the lid () are in a fitted sate to limit the buckles (), and the tongue () exits from the locking hole () in the side board ().
