Abstract
A brush box () for a brush-holder, which is useful as a housing for an electric machine brush (). The brush box () comprises a lower portion () for guiding the brush, connected to a mounting (), and an upper portion () for guiding the brush, the lower () and upper () guiding portions being open on the side of a front surface () and a rear surface of the brush (). The lower () and upper () guiding portions are separated from one another by a space () enabling a braid of the brush () to pass through.
