A remote controllerincludes: an operation unit; a power generating unitthat generates electric power by operation on the operation unit; a signal generating unitthat operates by using the electric power generated by the power generating unitand is able to output a signal of a kind corresponding to the content of each operation on the operation unit; a storage unitthat operates by using the electric power generated by the power generating unitand nonvolatilely stores the content of an output signal of the signal generating unit; and a transmission control unitthat operates by using the electric power generated by the power generating unitand transmits a wireless signal including information corresponding to the content of the output signal stored in the storage unitwhen the operation on the operation unitsatisfies a predetermined condition.
