Abstract

A crushing device () is suitable for crushing pills (), tablets, or other ingestive objects. The crushing device () includes a base (), an anvil (), an end pillar (), and a support pillar (). A threaded shaft () is disposed between the anvil () and the end pillar (), and passes through an aperture () in the support pillar (). The threaded shaft () is coupled to a crushing head (), which translates toward the anvil () when a lever () coupled to the threaded shaft () is rotated radially about an axis () of the threaded shaft (). When a pill crushing pouch () having pills () therein is placed between the crushing head () and the anvil (), rotation of the lever () crushes the pills ().
