Abstract
An oven rack assembly () can be used with an oven (') having sets of liner ribs (). The oven rack assembly () includes an oven rack (), slide system () and subframe (). The oven rack assembly () also includes a retention/release assembly () for facilitating retention of a position of the subframe () onto liner ribs () and for facilitating release of the subframe () when a user wishes to remove or move the assembly () from the oven. Attachment plates () can also be included, with the plates () mounted to side stampings (). The oven rack assembly () also includes protruding forms () on the subframe () which interact with forms () positioned along the liner ribs () to prevent tipping of the subframe () when the oven rack () is moved to an extended position.
